Let’s Play the Loop Game Again, Shall We?

September 3, 2012

Join the political “Loop Liberation Movement”!

July 24, 2012

It is an irrefutable fact that Jimmy Carter filled his administration with members of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission (CFR/TC).  It is they who are responsible for the failings of administrations in which they dominated.  Not understanding this group’s immense influence within administration after administration keeps you right where they want you; ignorant, programmed and obedient.

These organizations and their affiliated front groups are overwhelmingly internationalist in their mindset. They view our US Constitution as the greatest hurdle toward global governance, which they openly tout!

They are decidedly opposed to any of the aims of Presidential candidate Ron Paul. This is the entire reason the Establishment Insiders and their member/surrogates in the media beat him up, black him out and otherwise bash his ideas and proposals even while he, and almost he alone, has been accurate in his future predictions of 9/11 and the bursting of the housing bubble, among others, years ahead of their happening.  Do any Ron Paul detractors, who claim to be “conservatives”, disagree with my assessment of Jimmy Carter and his administration?

However, just as Jimmy complained about the “insiders” while campaigning: “The insiders have had their chance and have not delivered. We need new faces and new ideas.”, so too did Reagan! Wasn’t the outcome of electing Jimmy Carter just more of the same or worse? More CFR/TC members, more domestic regulations, more international sellout, giving away our Panama Canal, communists allowed to ravage central America and I could go on and on. With their members holding the highest positions within Carter’s Cabinet and throughout his administration, should we not hold them accountable or to blame for the outcomes? Did the “insiders” become outsiders or was it all a lie to deceive a gullible public?

Reagan, prior to the New Hampshire primary, condemned the TC by name and took New Hampshire by storm, 50% to Bush’s 23%. George H. W. Bush, was required to resign his CFR Directorship while running against Reagan or while “in public service”.  Bush was the Director of the CFR from 1977-1979 when he resigned.
See:  http://www.cfr.org/about/history/cfr/appendix.html

As just one example of his super-internationalist views; the following is taken from this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_world_order_(politics)
“A pivotal point came with Bush’s September 11, 1990 “Toward a New World Order” speech to a joint session of Congress. This time it was Bush, not Gorbachev, whose idealism was compared to Woodrow Wilson, and to Franklin D. Roosevelt at the creation of the UN.” Please note the date! 9/11/1990! Oddly, 11 years to the day prior to the 9/11/2001 WTC attacks. Now, that could be a coincidence I’ll admit, but it is very strange.

You see, many still yet do not understand or acknowledge who we are fighting against. You are the victim of what in the computing world is called a “repeating loop”, normally requiring “debugging” or correcting.  Every command line inside the loop is performed until it reaches a command to return to the first line and repeats itself over and over.  The interesting thing is that the output of the loop is different each time but only within a range of acceptable values set by the programmers within that loop. Just before the loop repeats, the names of the known “X”s and “Y”s are changed to “A”s and “B”s but the formulas and their outputs are the same.  Many being none-the-wiser are all too content to think that this loop is a wonderful example of our democratic two-party system in action. If so, you have become a captive of the loop!

Activists and supporters of the “liberty movement” are largely familiar with the “loop game” and are attempting to expose and change the command lines of the loop and break the loop all-together in time.  I have dubbed this effort the “Loop Liberation Movement”(LLM).

Education is the only thing that will expose the “loop game” and how the masses are trapped in it. To understand the current command lines and how the loop game is played, you must watch this video. When you have carefully watched it, please return with your comments. But until then, I must hold onto my hope that humans can still muster the character and willingness to learn things that they currently do not know or that they insist on denying at their own peril.

Real Choice, Real Serious, Real Scary!

July 1, 2012

by: Gary Hardee

In his June 27, 2012 blog entry entitled “Deep Concerns about the Media Should Romney Win”, Rodney Page, author of the to be released book, “Powers Not Delegated”, he lays out his concerns regarding the tricks and tactics of the dominant liberal media.

See his blog here:
http://blog.powersnotdelegated.com/2012/06/27/deep-concerns-about-the-media-should-romney-win.aspx

His points are well taken and I don’t take issue with the bulk of his points. It’s a worthy read for those who truly value their vote this November!

Perhaps Mr. Page will approve of my comments or maybe he won’t. But since we now have the power of the internet, our voices cannot be silenced if we take time to bypass MSM outlets and take our statements directly to the people.  So, here is my response for your consideration.

The deception that Romney is significantly “better” or “diametrically opposed” to Obama is a scam and a lie. Both are government operatives and “managers”. Both have clear records that prove it. Obama is perhaps a more strident and blatant radical, even the label of Marxist I can accept. But Romney will serve the same globalist interests that Obama does. The wars, undeclared, will continue wherever the eastern liberal establishment (the Insiders) want them to occur.

If you vote for Romney and he wins, don’t expect much better due to the backers that are promoting his candidacy. I’m not talking about the local voter who can’t stand Obama and want him out. Otherwise known as the ABO crowd. I’m talking about the same ones who gave us H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and even Jimmy Carter as well.

No discussion of the cure is helpful unless one first recognizes the real “kingmakers” that are giving us false choices to begin with.

Only a candidate that wants a return to individual freedom and a limited government based on the restrictions imposed by the US Constitution will bring us out of the socialist quagmire we find ourselves in today. Romney will not do it! His false “conservatism” coupled with his highly liberal record in Massachusetts should be proof enough for any brain ruled by common sense.

I do not question the good intentions of the vast majority of Romney supporters but I do have grave concerns over their apparently flawed hope the he will truly side with the Constitution.

There is only one man that has proven his worthiness of the Presidency but he is not the Insider’s choice! Thus we see the media “blackout” and steady promotion of almost any other. Just as in 2008, we again are not allowed to hear equally from Ron Paul. The Insiders have successfully scared the Republican base into avoiding him in favor of another neo-con “repeat” and possible defeat rather than recognize that his honesty and character would surely win over the dishonest collectivism of Obama.

So! Why is the media silencing him by  ignoring and lampooning him? Why isn’t he being interviewed honestly and with respect, on the national news shows? His predictions, well in advance of housing crisis alone, should propel him to “expert” status, and it has if you ask many media types, off the record.

If you want a President who is consistently on the side of the people and their labors, who understands well the dynamics of markets and the downfalls of debt and continual wars, who can move us toward sound money and reduced inflation and reduce our destructive entangling alliances the founders warned so often about, etc., your only choice is to vote for Ron Paul in November no matter what!

The collectivism of Obama will not be stopped by Romney. We must elect more Congressmen to DC that are much like Ron Paul so that no matter who we are forced to accept for President, funding can be denied for all unconstitutional activities of the federal government.

The people must rise with a backbone and throw out those who have proven records of creating more and more laws and job destroying regulations that are clearly not authorized activities of the fed.

“We get the government we deserve”, is generally true. But will we deserve better this time around? Will we be wiser? Or will we make another stupid mistake?

Are You Considering Newt Gingrich? Consider This!

April 22, 2012

Some facts you should seriously consider before you decide with whom you will side!

(original credit)
by Bill Evelyn on Thursday, June 16, 2011

Newt Gingrich served in Congress from 1979 to 1999 and served as Speaker of the House from 1995 – 1999. Newt is credited with welfare reform and the Contract with America. Newt led the charge to impeach Bill Clinton. Newt voted for H.Res. 611 Impeach Resolution Amendments for the impeachment of Bill Clinton. Newt also voted against the Brady Hand Gun Bill.

This paper focuses on Newt’s participation in the Housing market collapse and subsequent financial morass our nation finds itself.

Newt Gingrich entered the US Congress in January of 1979 from the 6th District of Georgia. Gold was $200 per ounce; gold in January 1999 leaving office was $287.00 per ounce. Yet, this does not tell the entire story. Today, gold is $1,650 per ounce as a result of massive Federal reserve issuing of dollars causing the value of the dollar to collapse against the value of gold.

For example, with a salary of $18,000 dollars a family could buy 90 oz. of gold in 1979. Today with a salary of $18,000 you can only purchase 10 oz. of gold (1/21/12). This inflation has destroyed our retirement savings and ruined our ability to be independent, because many families are being forced into poverty with the subsequent housing collapse. This short analysis illustrates Newt Gingrich’s complicity in the failed policy of the past 20 years.

Questions that I feel Newt needs to answer:
Do you believe; “Fannie Mae is an excellent example of a government institution fulfilling its mandate while functioning in the market economy?”
Do you believe the Federal Reserve has maintained its charter to stabilize the value of the dollar?
Do you believe Fannie Mae is constitutional?
Would you vote YES now for the Fair Housing Act?
Would you vote YES now for H.R. 3768 Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Act (FDICA) Did you know the Christopher Dodd (D-CT) Amendment was included in FDICA?
Would you vote YES now for H.R. 5334 Housing & Community Development Act 1993?
……………………………………………………
1988 – Roll Call #697, June 29, 1988 – H.R. 1158 Fair Housing Act- Newt Gingrich YES for this law.
1. Modifies the definition of a discriminatory housing practice to include acts of interfering, coercing, threatening or intimidating a person in the exercise or enjoyment of his/her rights as protected by Sections 804, 805 and 806 of this act.
2. Provides HUD with the ability to initiate complaints. In essence, HUD can now set up stings to find evidence that mortgage lenders and banks are discriminating against blacks and Hispanics. Prior to this law a complaint must have been filed by that person believing they were being discriminated against.
……………………………………………………
1991 – Roll Call #416, November 21, 1991 6:04 PM – H.R. 3768 Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Improvement Act (FDICIA)- Newt Gingrich voted YES for this law.
The House passed this bill with a little known amendment inserted by Christopher Dodd (D-CT). The amendment expanded the federal safety net increasing the likelihood of taxpayer bailouts. Walker F. Todd an assistant general counsel and research officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland uncovered the obscure amendment. Prior to this law only commercial banks, members of the Federal Reserve System, could access emergency funds from the central bank. The amendment to FDICA increased the availability of Fed assistance to included investment banks and insurance companies. Dodd’s constituents include most of the nation’s large insurance companies. “Moral hazard” – Access to emergency capital made bank managers less likely to exercise caution.
Thus in 2008 (TARP) the Fed rescued AIG and banks all over the world at the detriment of United States taxpayers. When Walker F. Todd tried to raise awareness Congress wanted no discussion of the expanding safety net and its costly implication for taxpayers. The Fed is printing money, inflating the dollar, and destroying the savings of American citizens.
……………………………………………………
1992 – Roll Call #366, August 5, 1992 2:53 PM – Housing and Community Develop Act (CRA) – Newt Gingrich voted YES for this law.
In 1992, President George H.W. Bush signed the Housing and Community Development Act of 1992. The Act amended the charter of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to reflect Congress’ view that the GSE’s “have an obligation to facilitate the financing of affordable housing for low-income and moderate-income families.” For the first time, the GSEs were required to meet “affordable housing goals” set annually by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and approved by Congress.
Establishes within the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight, managed by a presidentially appointed Director, who shall ensure that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (the enterprises) and their affiliates are adequately capitalized and operating safely. Authorizes the Director to require financial reports from the enterprises in addition to quarterly and annual reports required under specified Acts. Grants the Secretary of HUD, except for specified authority of the Director of the Office, general regulatory power over each enterprise. Requires the Secretary to require each enterprise to obtain the Secretary’s approval for any new program before implementing it. Amends the Department of Housing and Urban Development Act to prohibit the Secretary from merging or consolidating the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight, or any of its functions or responsibilities, with any function or program the Secretary administers. Authorized Government National Mortgage Association (GNMA) to issue Collateralized Mortgage Obligations (CDO’s) Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac issue and guarantee pass-through securities; Ginnie Mae only adds its guarantee to privately issued pass-through’s backed by government-insured (FHA and VA) mortgages. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have issued CMOs for some time; the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) began to issue CMOs in 1992; and Ginnie Mae initiated its own CMO program in 1994. The CRA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the relationship between Wall Street and the Federal government caused the financial meltdown in 2008. Bankers were forced to make loans to low income people that could not repay those mortgages. In order to cover that risk CDO’s were sold to unknowing investors, banks and insurance companies, and eventually this bubble burst causing the meltdown we are living with now.
……………………………………………………
Fannie Mae was created in 1938 by FDR to bail-out banks with bad mortgages. Freddie Mac was created in the 1960’s to compete with Fannie Mae. All during the 1980’s Republican legislators tried to privatize fully Fannie and Freddie. In the late 1980’s Jim Johnson a politically connected Democrat was appointed Chairman of Fannie Mae. Jim Johnson has a very different perspective. He strong armed lawmakers to ensure Fannie was never fully privatized in order to maintain the ability for the federal government to bail-out Fannie. In doing so, interest rates on Fannie’s mortgage offerings could be set lower, because of the implied exception of taxpayer bail-out. No wonder Jim Johnson was a good friend of Angelo Mozzilo of Countrywide Mortgage.
Jim Johnson fought hard to ensure that Fannie remained tethered to the federal taxpayers. He was instrumental in getting FDICA passed into law and the Federal Housing Enterprises Financial Safety and Soundness Act 1992 Title 10 of H.R. 5334. It ensured HUD maintained its oversight and thus was tethered to the taxpayers. It also provided Fannie with a new mission – provide affordable housing to low income
Jim Johnson geared up to spend $1.0T to be spent on affordable housing between 1994 and 2000. This money would finance 10 million homes for low-income families. Fannie boasted that they would bring new flexibility to the loan underwriting process. Jim Johnson used Fannie Mae partnership offices nationwide. In doing it cemented its relationships with members of Congress in order to protect Fannie.
In Feb 1995 Johnson traveled to Atlanta to launch the new office focusing on creating new mortgage products for first-time homebuyers and low- and moderate-income consumers. There to celebrate the Fannie Mae commitment was none other than Newt Gingrich a supposed big proponent of reduced government size.
Gingrich said; “Fannie Mae is an excellent example of a former government institution fulfilling its mandate while functioning in the market economy.”
The problem with this statement; Fannie Mae is still being bailed-out by the taxpayers. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have received $317B in bail-outs and it’s not over. Jim Johnson massed a $21M fortune in salary and bonuses as Chairman of Fannie Mae. Your savings and purchasing power has fallen 650%.

My Letter To The Missouri GOP on St. Charles County

March 23, 2012

Missouri Republican Party
105 E. High St.
Jefferson City, MO 65101

To the Officers of the Missouri GOP:

As a 35 year active Republican I am today ashamed of the way my party is being run from behind the scenes in your state – St. Charles County in particular. I hope you are too!

The recent events in St. Charles County, and other places too numerous to mention but which are all over the internet, are bringing disgrace to our party on a national scale. I cannot imagine this is what you want. It is NOT what I want!

Any traditional Republican (one that believes in what the Party Platform says, our long-held positions of less government and more individual freedom and our support of the US Constitution) can see that we are not practicing what we preach. This will come back to bite us in more ways than you can count.

Actions have consequences. Failure to fix a clear problem makes you complicit in the continuation of the problem.

Mind you, this problem will not go away until you act to fix it and institute fair and disciplined reforms that conform to the requirement that all meetings be run democratically; be they caucus conventions or regular county conventions and above.

Yes, we have rules. But those rules are established through long, arduous and structured processes that must be adhered to at all levels or we will lose all respect of our members and those who would like to be a part of an honorable process. We already suffer from outside forces that have chipped away at our numbers and reduced the number of enthusiastic members we have. By the many self-inflicted wounds we seem to be bringing on ourselves, we do ourselves no favors in the eyes of those we hope to encourage to be a part of the process.

Change is inevitable. It must occur. Or it will be forced upon us in ways that may spell the demise of our party.

Need I remind you all that every political party is required to be run on democratic principles wherein all decisions are made at the will of the majority of the legitimately credentialed to cast votes. To spit in the faces of those who come in, regardless of the numbers, or even perhaps the temporary nature of some new people who do wish to support the party, will only blacken the party in the eyes of the public.

The failure of our meetings to be run by Roberts Rules of order in a proper and open structure that allows for debate and even dissention will rot public confidence in candidates wearing our label due to the draconian manner in which our most sacred events are conducted.

Unfair practices are not unknown to those inside of the party operations and such practices have existed and have continued for decades with no correction. We are living on borrowed time and fueling the rise of third parties by our failure to clean up our act.

Failure to clean up our act and rid ourselves of those who play power politics will only postpone the salvation of our republic and a return to this nation’s core principles, purchased with the large sacrifices of those we claim to respect and acclaim!!!

I am among those who have seen these power games played out in several states so you are not alone in your guilt but you can become a state that is known to have cleaned house and restored respect among other state party operations but only if you act today! I truly hope you will!

The events in St. Charles could have been handled much differently but it was clearly not the intention of the leadership that it be handled any differently. The leadership could have simply asked for quiet to address the crowd, acknowledged the desire of the majority to allow video taped documentation and explain when, how and why the rule barring taping was established, then offer an olive branch by saying if they abide by the rule temporarily and allow the opening of the convention normally that the chair will move a change in the order of business to allow for a motion on the ban to be removed and if adopted the cameras will be allowed and if defeated it would need to be adhered to. This would have restored the lost respect of the chair and county officers as being fair and run democratically. An accredited parliamentarian should always be used to insure that Roberts Rules are adhered to. Special instructions of impartiality, fairness and deliberative time should be their instructions to keep feathers from being unnecessarily rubbed the wrong way. When we don’t, we loose what good will and support we could engender.

What I am telling each of you is common sense. This letter should never have been necessary to even write, but apparently it is required!

It is unarguable that our country is in great trouble. Since the internet revolution began some 7 to 10 years ago and has rapidly advanced with social networking, email communications, cell phone multi-media development worldwide and a host of online video posting sites, we have seen a breaking of the stronghold of the old “Big Three” network from the 70’s and an unraveling of their dominance over what goes into the minds and hearts of our people. Today, we often hear references to the Lamestream Media and even “conservative” networks are being found to be but a batch of entertainers for the brain-dead among us. This is a good thing by all accounts and by all measures. Yes, it causes the status quo to be challenged but doesn’t it need to be?

Have we not seen that simplistic appeals to “change” are often enough to win elections? But the promised change seldom results! Are you not blind and see that the people are figuring it out? Are we to sit, stubbornly in that “ivory tower”, defiantly resisting the obvious restlessness of the “natives”?

Do we naively think that this rising tide of informed citizens will abate, thus insuring our tenuous hold on our offices without change? Will the leadership of our party side with this increasing voter block and continue playing footsie with the old establishment? Or will we recognize that in just another 4 short years there will be millions more informed that will seek a political home and a slate of candidates they can support?

Are we blind or just resistant to ridding ourselves of the corruption within our government? What about our own party? A homeowner may try to fight the rising tide but he will lose in the end! I do not want us to lose in the end! We can lead our party and our nation again by routing our own corruption today!

Keep in mind that it is not a change for more government that is this rising tide but less! Isn’t that what we believe? Will we put teeth behind the words that we have espoused for many decades? Are we not thought of as a paper tiger? The citizens are figuring this out and are coming in to fix the problem!

We do not even discipline our own elected Republicans that violate their oaths of office! We do not seek to enforce our Platform to any noticeable degree whatsoever! We have become their servants rather than they, ours. The world is upside down and the tide seeks to correct it. Will you fight it or embrace it?

The ball is now in your court and I ask you to do the right thing by the members of our party.

Each of you receiving this letter should also know that I will be posting this letter as a blog and spread it everywhere humanly possible. This is a wake up call!

I will be encouraging others to write their own to you all and I’m granting permission to use any of my text in their letters as well. I hope they will be as kind and generous toward you as I, but think many won’t be, for justifiable reasons. Just as there are always many irate voters who do not write their representatives; do not think that only a few letters means there is a small problem. I trust you will deal with it immediately for the stake of the party!

Respectfully submitted,

Please, No More Collectivists!

March 20, 2012

Obama is a collectivist of one variety and rhetoric; Romney is another variety – the same with different rhetoric but essentially a big government Republican; Newt is another collectivist variety and his record and words lately easily prove that; Santorum has voted to raise the debt on your children 5 times yet touts family – again, he too is a collectivist with his one rhetorical set.

But Ron Paul is a different animal all-together! The man is a humble statesman that has no lust for power personally or to “collect” power into government’s “hands”. He has done the only thing an elected official has personal power over and that’s to say “yea” or “nay” on legislation, when he convinced it contains unconstitutional provisions, and clearing that hurdle, if the legislation is good for the “general welfare” of the entire nation. Ron Paul is a man of consistent integrity, seeks and speaks the truth as he knows it to be, acts on those understandings apart from outside “lobbyist” influences, has always spent less  than he has been allocated by Congress to run his office and return every surplus. He has also never voted for a pay increase for Congressional salaries and has NEVER voted to raise the debt ceiling or for passing an unbalanced budget. And FOX and other MSM outlets label him more liberal than Obama? Are you joking? The label “conservative” is given to Santorum? His record is like Obama’s far more than Dr. Paul’s! The list is so incredibly long, all of you would be pissed if I listed them. My friends, we are being lied to every day, long and hard about the facts!

Ron Paul is the man in this race that MUST BE STOPPED by the “Demopublican” Insider-controlled establishment collectivists but they are having a hard time making anything really stick. This is because the people who really look at what I am saying here about Dr. Paul will realize how they are being duped once again into this loosing choice between “Collectivist Candidate “A” and “Collectivist Candidate “B”.

Only time and propaganda jammed down the people’s throats will tell the outcome. If you do not take a stand against the status-quo “collectivist” candidates right now, this year, IN YOUR STATE’S PRIMARY we will continue to be “managed” by Washington and New York. We will still experience a continued loss of our “God-given/Nature-given/At Birth-given” rights to again “own our lives” as free and independent souls and agents.

You must side with liberty, or you will lose it! You must side with protecting private property rights or you will lose your property! You must assume the risks of decisions fully or you will lose your right to make them!

You cannot expect to be a free person yet demand government provided “cradle to grave” security or you will end up forced to work for others as the government fulfills this expectation.

Those who learn nothing from history are doomed to repeat it! Ignorant and free can never be! The essence of liberty is the limitation of government! Government cannot give us anything that it does not first take from someone through force! Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force and like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master! Less government, more individual responsibility and with God’s grace… a better world.

Please, please…. for the sake of humanity, your family, all our futures and all that is good, decent and honorable, read this book – The Law, by Frederic Bastiat and work for the election of Ron Paul as President!

My Take on the Nevada Caucus of 2012

February 6, 2012

Written By:  Gary Hardee
Date: 2/5/2012

On the subject of disclosure, which I think a matter of honest journalism, it should be known that I am biased, but in what way?  I am a free man and make decisions on fact more than opinion.  My conclusions are mine and mine alone and are subject to change when new facts are revealed.  Honesty is still a virtue and wisdom the prize. Silence is not “golden”, it’s “yellow”.

The Nevada caucus held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 has concluded. To any reasonable observer, there were problems with timely reporting from the start. Media did not rely on actual tallies but entrance and exit poling to call the night.  It took a day and a half to render the “official” outcome. Many recounts occurred with different results. So to me there is a healthy rational for suspicion. At the time of this writing, only 71% of the vote has been reported. From this figure, doing a little math, I have put together the following “final” outcome. Unless the remaining 29% holds a grossly different pattern than the 71% reported, consider this a “projected” outcome that should be close enough for my purposes.

Let’s start with a few of tables. First, that of the 2012 caucus so far, the second is that of my projected results and third are actual results of the 2008 caucus.

The first thing that becomes readily clear is that the turnout this year is significantly below that of 2008.  In fact a 27.8% drop from 2008! You would think that with all the anti-Obama fever predictably pumped by the GOP, coupled with the state of  jobs and the economy, the seeming opposition to Obamacare and Obams’s failure to fulfill his “Hope and Change” promises, we would have seen a much greater turnout than in 2008.

It seems that either there is little enthusiasm over the current Republican field among GOP primary voters or perhaps an “I don’t care who wins the nomination, I will just vote against Obama in November” attitude. Perhaps there is a little “hopelessness” within the ranks of the GOP voter base that thinks it is futile to attempt to defeat Obama. Either way, the numbers do raise some very serious concerns about the 2012 race for the GOP and a dilemma for the establishment neo-con king-makers behind the scenes.

This lackluster enthusiasm and reduced voter turnout presents an opening for “establishment challenger” Ron Paul, provided his base will get out and vote! As reflected in the Nevada caucus, this did not happen to the degree that Paul’s support quintupled in South Carolina from 2008 to 2012. This increase in percentage may be reflected more in primary states than in caucus states if these result trends continue. It is highly suspicious however that Paul’s vote total increased some 220% over 2008 yet could barely get the same totals as 2008 in Nevada this year.  We’ll see what happens in Maine.

With the nearly 28% drop in Nevada caucus participation over 2008 comes some very interesting insights regarding Romney’s base and the confusion over who the “conservative” Republican may support between Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum. Lest you think the Republican Party devotees and active participants have an exclusive on being internally divided, the Democratic Party has is factions too! The major media, dominated by Democrat/liberal influences paints a picture of Democratic “unity” but it too is far from being unified. There is significant internal division and hand-ringing over Obama. His absentee leadership and his hyper-liberal agenda will likely drive defections from their base in November. These may land on a more “centrist” GOP candidate if they feel Obama’s replacement is greatly needed.

With the rising tide of opposition to big government intrusions into our civil liberties, grossly unconstitutional government, a debt crisis, a deficit crisis from over spending, gargantuan crony capitalism problem, routinely undeclared wars and the deaths of our soldiers for no real benefits, secrecy of the Federal Reserve and the inability of our officials to demand at least a complete audit from its inception just to name a few, is it any wonder that change again is in the air?

There is a real shakeup about to happen and the Insiders of both parties and the power brokers in the think-tanks and foundations influencing them have a real battle on their hands. That battle? Keeping an alternative, non-establishment candidate from winning the Presidency. It would be the best thing for the people but make no mistake about this being their total focus! From their perspective it is “preserve and protect” – their existing state of affairs.

Returning to the numbers, given the drop in percentage over 2008, Ron Paul faired better than the other three. Combining all the vote totals of the other three there is an overall reduction of 32% to Ron Paul’s reduction of 2.8% from 2008. Just looking at the table above you can see that Paul increased his vote percentage over 2008 by 35.5% as compared to Romney’s drop of 3.4% over 2008. Assuming for the sake of argument that all the votes in 2008 not cast for Romney or Paul went to a “Gingrich/Santorum” candidate this year, the result would be a reduction of 1.37% over 2008. This clearly indicates that 4.77% went to Paul in varying degrees from those who are now supporters of Dr. Paul since his actual vote total was less than in 2008.

This reality should give encouragement to those who see Ron Paul as the truly rising candidate in both popularity and activist support against the other increasingly perceived status quo candidates. But will it be enough?

The challenge, at least within its GOP Division, is how to sweep Ron Paul to the “side” without appearing too obvious to the masses.  The growing support for Ron Paul must be matched or exceeded for the other candidates in each succeeding state contest.  Money and enthusiasm must continue or increase for Dr. Paul while executing and even better ground game and GOTV effort.

The status quo “trio” will remain on stage for a while. If for no other reason than to keep Ron Paul’s input in the “debates” to a minimum while presenting a mostly circus type atmosphere dominated by the “trio”.  As support shifts and money dries up or the establishment applies pressure, one will drop-out and endorse one of the other in the “trio”, but not Dr. Paul. This is the way the game is played on an unsuspecting public and the GOP voter base in particular. The dropping candidate, to preserve his political future, will do so in the event that Ron Paul comes in second in two major states. This will push Paul back to third in future states and give the impression that he is a “loser” or it will be done in order to get more delegates for the remaining “duo”.

At this point, unless Newt self-destructs in some horrible way, I would say that Santorum will be the next to drop but that isn’t likely until after Super Tuesday or he runs out of money or he gets “the word” from above.

The historical “king-makers” that have routinely managed to get their puppets on the ballots for both parties in the general election absolutely must minimize any possibility of a significant return to a federal government that operates under the constraints of the Constitution of the United States! This and this alone, is what we are seeing playing out before our very eyes.

Iowa Results and Future Battles Ahead

January 4, 2012

John McCain is expected to endorse Mitt Romney today and many of you may have heard this already. Endorsements by establishment liberals and neo-cons will start coming soon. You will be able to tell the real Americans by who they endorse. If Perry or Bachmann endorse Ron Paul I will think more highly of them for taking a stand for principle over political pragmatism, putting America First! I think there is a less than 25% chance that either will endorse Paul. If they do not, it will likely spell defeat for any future offices they may seek. Rick Santorum will not do as well as Gingrich in New Hampshire.

My prediction is that Romney will win in New Hampshire by 10-20 points over  Gingrich and likely edge Paul but by less than 5 points and Santorum just behind Paul. So I predict another 3rd place finish for Paul in New Hampshire.

South Carolina will not see a Perry, Bachmann or Huntsman. They will have dropped out and endorsed either Romney or Santorum. My belief is that both Perry and Bachmann will endorse Santorum and Huntsman will endorse Romney or Gingrich, more likely Romney. That said, South Carolina will also be a 3rd place finish for Paul in South Carolina. Results from S.C. will be too close to call but I can see a Romney win, Gingrich second with Paul and Santorum duking it out for 3rd. Again, another 3rd place finish.

If Paul can surprise us in New Hampshire with either a second or very close 3rd, things could change in South Carolina. It really is too close to call in S.C. because we don’t know who the players will be by then or who they will endorse.

Since Dr. Paul will not likely get the endorsements of Perry, Bachmann or Huntsman, Dr. Paul will clearly emerge as the anti-establishment “none of the above” choice which would send a huge message to the GOP as well as the Democrats.

Going forward, Dr. Paul will do better and better against the “establishment” alternatives. Should the field narrow to Romney and Paul on the stage in the debates you should see Paul do better and better.

Dr. Paul’s chief challenge is not necessarily Romney but the MSM hatchet job on Paul’s foreign policy, pro-life and civil liberties (ending the federal War on Drugs). The total “theme” that will be used against Paul will be that his views and policies are “too scary” for our nation’s future. The sooner we realize that the fight for our Constitution and fundamental liberties is between “Individualism” and “Collectivism”, the better off we will be in the long run.

As you should well know by now and from the insider’s perspective, it is Paul that must be stopped at all costs! They are really scared! Should Paul start winning a state or two, you will see a real monster emerge that will transcend this election. False flag events from international to domestic could spring up. Whenever and however they do, the media will attempt to “prove” in not so subtle terms that Dr. Paul’s “philosophy” is not the answer.

Fear and intimidation will be the weapon used. Let me underscore this point! We may see a series of events that may include;
1) A global financial meltdown that calls for a “global” solution.
2) More wars that will “prove” the need for the UN or international military “cooperation”.
3) More “terrorist” events on our own soil to “prove” the need for an expanded “Homeland Security/FEMA/TSA/ATF/Justice Department crackdown” to restore “order”.
Don’t fall for it!!!

The people, organizations and collectivist philosophy that we oppose are long-established, entrenched, well-funded, diabolical and highly skilled at the art of gaining and keeping raw power. They are a particularly vial and violent lot that has been at the helm of our ship of state for nearly 100 years and when seriously threatened, will swarm out of their nest to preserve their territory. The more we threaten, the uglier it will get until we knock down their “hornet’s nest(s)” from the tree in our front yard and burn in a fire.

Back to the elections. There are just over 1,700 precincts in Iowa. Paul’s totals fell just shy of 4,000 votes from first place. You do the math. If just 3 more people per precinct and caucused for Paul he would have won by more than 1,100 votes. This will also be the case in future caucus states. Primary states may require more work and get out the vote(GOTV) efforts and more advanced educational efforts from door knocking to ads on television and radio.

The youth vote will be vital and should be a major target audience. Youth being, 17 to 45. While many in the “baby boomer” generation are waking up, they may be the less open to significant changes. Those over 65 will be even less like to seek or support the changes that are needed.

WHAT WE MUST DO TO WIN:

First, we must do all we can to inform ourselves as thoroughly as possible.

Second, we must use our strongest skill set to reach out to others. Make the best use of your time, money and influence and try to reach those who have the most influence first.

Third, we must become a committee of one to our friends, families and neighbors by thinking of ourselves as “fishers of men”. Our “net” should be tight and in good “repair” never allowing even the smallest “catch” to slip through our net. Always try to get the person’s name, phone and email address for follow-up communications. Note their “hot button” issue. Provide them other articles and/or videos to build a more informed electorate. Remember this most important lesson: once a person “gets it” they will be a part of the solution and they in turn will educate others!

Fourth, find or form a local group of “individualists” to help carry out the 1st through 3rd objectives above.

Please remember that this is a movement that will have ups and downs, advances and setbacks but there is too much momentum on our side to ultimately keep us from succeeding if we will do our parts to stay informed, active and plugged into the expanding liberty network!

I send to each of you my warm regards and best wishes for this New Year of 2012!

Domestic Monetary Policy and Technology

WITNESS LIST

  • Mr. Scott G. Alvarez, General Counsel, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System
  • Mr. Thomas C. Baxter, Jr., General Counsel, Federal Reserve Bank of New York

This should be a very interesting exchange that should give considerable insight into the attitudes and accountability of the FED to our elected officials as they try to uncover some hard to get information. You will also get to see who among our elected officials are working for the people or for the powerful money interests controlling our nation’s, monopoly enforced, medium of exchange.

It will indeed be interesting to see what media stories will come of this hearing in the days ahead. This too will be revealing as you slice and dice the MSM’s coverage and slants on how things went down.

Mike Huckabee Has No Clothes!

May 29, 2011

Written by: Gary Hardee
Link to video: here.

First, let me thank Mike Huckabee for helping to save America by attacking the most honorable man on Capitol Hill! Strange you say? His 35 second response to Jay Leno’s question has done more to gain and fire up Ron Paul supporters than any other comments I have heard lately.

Mike, sounding a little caught off guard, quickly levels the standard litany of derogatory “put-downs” emanating from the collectivist wing of the GOP. Make no mistake about it; there are plenty of collectivists in the Republican Party! Too many, in fact, for the Party to be fully on the side of individual liberty and personal responsibility!

Here’s how it actually went down:

Jay: “Now tell me about Ron Paul. He’s one of your fellow Republicans.”
Mike: “Yea, Ron Paul, I, ya.., he’s actually a libertarian. Ron Paul is not
really a Republican – ah, he’s a pure libertarian. But if he runs as a
libertarian nobody hears him but if he runs as a Republican he gets some
space on the stage and everybody gets to hear that he wants to legalize all
drugs, uh, that he believes in, ya know, prostitution being legalized and he
wants to  uh, essentially strip the military of anything (stop), I uh. Ya, Ron
Paul is an interesting character, I admire him ’cause he’s got the guts to go
out there and say what he thinks but the best way to describe the Ron Paul
audience is combination gun show and Grateful Dead concert. That’s the
        Ron Paul audience.”

Now, I know Ron Paul a bit more personally than most people because I was on his 2008 campaign staff, met with him at seven different venues, introduced him twice to local audiences, had lunch with him and heard his conversations in such settings and worked months with those who know him even better.

Referring to Ron as an “interesting character” is meant to be very derogatory and his “separatist” comment about republicans and libertarians means that libertarian ideas and positions have no place in republican thought; in other words – the two have nothing in common. What?! He just slammed every great republican icon of the past and Ronald Reagan especially! Oh, that’s right – the neo-cons have taken over the GOP. I almost forgot! “War now – war forever!” Is this the new acceptable republican position? Who gave him the power to change history and just who IS the real republican?

For Mike to make such disgraceful comments, obviously choosing to focus on the few issues that will likely do Paul the most damage, due to the robust ignorance of Congressman Paul’s fully rational positions, he has unmasked his willingness to serve the political power structure that is crushing our present and controlling our future.

Was he perhaps trying to be cute and “hip” by attacking Paul’s positions? You can easily see that he ran out of talking points and was about to offend the many fine military personnel who support Dr. Paul. Notice how he shifted instead from Ron himself (the question) to his summation of Ron’s “audience” or general constituency. The “guilt by association”/”transfer” technique was promoted for use by U.S. Communists in 1943: “When certain obstructionists become too irritating, label them, after suitable build-ups… and use the prestige of anti-Fascist and tolerance organizations to discredit them. In the public mind, constantly associate those who oppose us with those names which already have a bad smell.”

I am not calling Mr. Huckabee a communist. Many people use this technique, even without knowing it, for non-politically motivated purposes.

This single attacking outburst will do more to get former Huckabee supporters for Paul than Mike’s simple decision not to enter the race. While Paul supporters are justly upset, perhaps we should be thanking Mike instead.

The video link and exact transcript above will, if spread far and wide until the primary election, increase support for Ron Paul from all gun owners, 2nd Amendment advocates, gun show attendees, rock-n-roll aficionados, concert goers, musicians, civil liberties supporters and clear thinking Christians who ask themselves how Jesus would have answered Jay’s question.

Who is the Republican? Ron Paul fits the mold of earlier republicanism more so than does Mike Huckabee. Ron’s faith in the basic goodness of Americans (more like Reagan) and is clearly much more than Mike’s or Mike would not be continually supporting so many collectivist programs as he does. Eisenhower condemned and warned of the military-industrial complex. Mike says nothing. Undeclared wars continue. Karl Marx supports an income tax. Mike says nothing. EvenLincolnrefused to embrace debt from foreign sources for the Civil War but Mike says little about a full audit of the private Federal Reserve fiat banking system. Mike Huckabee either doesn’t understand these issues or he believes in his own vision of an ideal collectivist managed society where everyone is forced to be, ”good” by law. Does that sound Republican?

Since when has Ronald Reagan been kicked under the bus by “true” Republicans? It was he that held that at the heart of conservatism is libertarianism. One must understand that Huckabee is really a neo-conservative. Neo-conservatism is a collectivist outgrowth based on forced democratic global capitalism at best, rather than true free-market exchanges.

Like the Democratic Party of Thomas Jefferson, the Republican Party today looks and sounds very little the party of Lincoln. Both parties’ accepted icons are neither conservative nor libertarian. They are “people control do-gooder collectivists” with slight differences in rhetoric for purposes of plausible deniability. Only a deeper study of these roots will unmask the trickery being wielded against the uninformed. Truly, Ron Paul is more republican at his core because of his consistent support of the Constitution; an “inconvenient” fact that Mike Huckabee failed to mention in his sound-bite.

Have we arrived at the day when to be considered a Republican one must accept, even defend, the obvious violations of the Constitution? Ron Paul has proclaimed many times that the Republican Party has “lost its way”. If it is brought back to its core philosophy it will be because of the Ron Paul types, not collectivist style con-men. Collectivism is incompatible with a free people.
